LUC NGAN:

Few know that amidst the rolling hills of Luc Ngan (formerly Bac Giang), when the lychee forests begin to bloom in white, the symphony of bees commences. In that pure atmosphere, the diligent bee colonies serve as vivid “witnesses” to the favor nature bestows upon this land.

Lychee Honey – A Miracle of Time and Perseverance

To produce a batch of raw, original honey, worker bees must visit millions of lychee blossoms. They use their proboscis to suck nectar into their honey stomachs and then undergo an elaborate ripening process: bees transfer nectar to one another to reduce the water content to below 20% and enrich it with precious enzymes.

Typically, it takes about 7 to 10 days for the bees to fill and “cap” the honeycomb layers. This is the golden time to harvest mature honey drops that carry the full essence of nature.

The Taste of Golden Sunlight in Every Drop

Completely different from blended honey types that often have a harsh sugary sweetness or a strong artificial scent, Bac Giang lychee blossom honey possesses a crystal-clear golden hue like early summer sunlight. It offers a refined, gentle sweetness and a characteristically intense floral aftertaste, as if enjoying a ripe lychee freshly picked from a branch still dewy. Another outstanding advantage is that lychee honey does not change color or crystallize when stored for a long time, ensuring safety and quality during use.

With its smooth texture and absolute purity, this honey has incredibly diverse applications in life. It serves as a high-end natural sweetener for fruit teas, enhancing flavor without losing the freshness of ingredients, and acts as a perfect seasoning in grilled cuisine to create a natural golden-brown glaze. Especially, thanks to its high enzyme content and excellent antibacterial properties, lychee honey is a “golden ingredient” in health care routines—mixed with warm water and fresh lemon every morning to detoxify the body—or used as a base ingredient in natural beauty products.

Honoring the Dedicated Hands behind Every Drop of Honey

Behind that sweetness are the drops of sweat from the people of Bac Giang. Amidst the undulating hilly terrain, they silently follow the bee colonies, tending to every frame and protecting each colony from the wind and dew. Each bottle of honey is not just a product; it is a mark of respect for the labor and dedication of farmers who work tirelessly day and night.

The Position of Vietnamese Honey on the World Map

Vietnam is proud to possess a rich honey portfolio, catering to all price segments from economical to premium. From leaf-based honey like acacia and rubber honey with high yields, to unique floral honeys such as rambutan and coffee, or the premium segment featuring lychee and longan blossom honey.

Moving into 2026, Vietnamese honey is gradually asserting its strategic role as an effective supply source for the shortages caused by geopolitical instability in Myanmar. By ensuring the global supply chain, Vietnamese honey has become a top choice for international partners due to its stable quality and variety of types.
